Apart from the official bag-release announcements on Chanel’s website, there are sometimes new bags that come after. For example, these gorgeous Chanel Tote Bags for the Fall Winter 2017 Collection Act 2. These bags just came in and they’re ready to be loved.

The Design

These bags are crafted as timeless as they can be. The body is refined with diamond quilting, but they are not designed in the same way as on the Classic Flap Bag. In fact, they’re flat quilted. If you look closer at the front of the bag, the stitching is quite interesting. The quilting-effect is stitched and it stops at the edges.

The center features the signature CC logo in vintage gold hardware, which looks nice and chic. The top of the bag; at the opening of the interior as well as the handles are both designed in bi-color. If you pick the classic color black or beige, you will get the classic burgundy shade as the second color.

The bag feels like it’s made from smooth calf leather. It’s gorgeous and perfect to use on casual days. So what do you think?

The Sizes And Prices

This bag comes in two sizes. The small size has a squared shape and it looks similar to the Small Lady Dior Bag. Currently we do not have the style code, exact measurement and prices of this bag. Once we know more, we will update this post. Please ask the SA at the boutique for more details.

HOW TO SHOP ON A BUDGET

Fashion

Shopping is one of the most enjoyable activities in this world. and especially when combined with looking for fashionable clothing and accessories; it can make you feel amazing. However, it can be quite difficult when you know that you are shopping on a budget. No one wants to sacrifice style for price, right? However, we are going to give you four of the best tips to help you enjoy your fashion while budget shopping without any regrets.

1. CHOOSING THE RIGHT SALON FOR STYLING

With many reliable options available, you should be in a position to pick one of the best salons for styling purposes. The best part is that beautiful styling at Ulta salon for a low price is a possibility. So, you should not assume that if the price is low, you won’t get top notch service. It is a myth, and you should not listen to it. Pick the right salon for styling, and you can look amazing on a budget.

2. LEARNING ABOUT THE BEST DISCOUNT OFFERS

From time to time, there will be a number of discount offers given by salons and you need to be smart enough to plan accordingly. Many people think that they will not be able to make changes to the offers given by salons. But that is not always the case. Ask the stylist if they are willing to give you an extra discount or apply their promo date to a later time.

Additionally, you might even have an option to learn about the best deals that can be coming your way by subscribing to a salon’s emails. You also have the option to look in magazines or catalogs for more possible savings. Search online for special codes and promotions.

3.  LEARNING THE BASICS OF MAKEUP

Makeup can have an incredible impact on your look, and just wearing a pop of lip color can boost your self esteem majorly. But when shopping on a budget, you can not afford to buy every little cosmetics item. So, you should start learning the basics of makeup and create a narrowed down list of necessary products. You can easily learn that all you will need is four or five products instead of ten or more.

4. INVESTING IN CLOTHING THAT MAKES YOU LOOK GOOD

Most of us think that investing in clothing means looks for expensive items that are popular among the masses. However, this far from the case. Most of the clothing that turns out to be popular is because of the person wearing it. In this case, models and celebrities wearing a particular brand or trend can make it look good. But it may not be the best look for you. So make sure to invest in clothing that flatters your body type and can be worn several different ways. A well made sweater or pair of boots can go a long way.

IMAGE: ULTRAAVIOLETS FOR BAGAHOLICBOY

A highlight piece for Chanel’s #PreCollection 2017 collection are these urban-looking suede and satin mid-cuff boots you see here that come in myriad colours, all of which work effortlessly well with a pair of pants, a crisp top (the Gabrielle Chanel tee, perhaps?) and your current fave Chanel handbag.

Standing tall in a 9 cm high heel, these boots are given the classic two-tone treatment with the black satin toe caps that’s one of the definitive Chanel iconic shoes. Take a walk in the park, (oh by park we mean Gardens by the Bay rather than MacRitchie…) and look every bit chic as you strut around in these statement-making, picture-perfect boots. Finished with the words Gabrielle Chanel and Coco with the CC logo on the other side, these two-toned boots (SGD2010) are now available in boutiques as part of Chanel’s #PreCollection lineup.

Speaking of the lineup, walk round the Ephemeral Boutique at Marina Bay Sands, and you’ll find even more of these two-toned suede variations that come in the form of a 4 cm and 9 cm pump and another street favourite ballerina silhouette. Aside from these specials, expect to find even more shoes (because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love shoes?) like the glittered slip-ons, pearl espadrilles and gladiator-like sandals that’s pure love.

SALMA HAYEK ON EMBRACING HER CURVY FIGURE

In her interview, Salma talks about the difficulty of dressing her curvy figure. “I was born in the wrong era; with [big] boobs, it’s impossible to find the right thing. I’m sure the ’50s or ’70s would have suited me. But I love the word ‘curvy’; it’s artistic. It’s a beautiful image, there is a flow to it. A straight line can be boring.”
